After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, 2023 COMPUTEX TAIPEI finally kicked off on May 30th, attracting thousands of exhibitors from various fields for a four-day event. The Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, in close collaboration with foreign partners through the International Partners Office Forum (IPO Forum), showcased international-level innovative applications and achievements. Dell Technologies, Intel, HP, NVIDIA, and domestic partners, Wen Wei Technology (WWTech), META Green Cooling Technology (MGCooling), AIMobile, Compal, AIRA, and ZHI HE Technology, joined forces to create the ‘Edge Computing and Interdisciplinary Innovation Solution Pavilion’ (booth M0102).

 

The pavilion revolves around the "edge computing value chain’, the solutions encompass front-end data storage devices, cloud platforms, data-driven approaches, and edge computing solutions, providing complete coverage of product applications throughout the lifecycle of various vertical domains, which garnered significant attention and visitors from the opening day.

 

WWTech and MGCooling join hands with industry leader Dell Technologies to focus on modernizing data platform deployment and optimization

The large-scale modern data center solution jointly presented by WWTech and MGCooling includes a high-performance storage environment, comprehensive backup and recovery solutions. They also showcased the latest liquid cooling system suitable for modern data centers, large server rooms, or AI-intensive servers, which can help customers increase efficiency and reduce energy consumption, supporting enterprises in achieving energy-saving and carbon reduction ESG goals.

AIMobile combines NVIDIA for edge computing and artificial intelligence.

In response to the rapid growth of global markets such as smart buildings, smart factories, and smart transportation, AIMobile, a subsidiary of Inventec Corporation, utilizes the latest NVIDIA Jetson platform to develop the AIM-Edge product line. By leveraging the powerful GPU computing power of NVIDIA and the research and development capabilities of AIMobile, the AIM-Edge embedded AI computing device is created, which is highly efficient and low power consumption. It assists enterprises in rapidly deploying edge computing capabilities for applications related to smart cities.

Compal Electronics receives dual BC Awards for groundbreaking 5G XR smart solution in collaboration with NVIDIA and HP

With the emerging trend of the virtual world, Compal Electronics has joined forces with NVIDIA CloudXR solution and GPU RTX A6000 Ada, along with high-performance HP workstations, to launch the XR Cube cloud service platform. It provides high availability and sufficient edge computing capabilities for XR applications, which can be applied to various terminal devices. It easily handles the XR, 5G, and AI performance requirements in the "metaverse." Additionally, on-site visitors can enjoy the immersive experience of APAL MR glasses, the world's only 5G MR glasses, and see how this application significantly reduces corporate travel and carbon emissions. This product has already received awards in the BC Awards and Technology Sustainability categories this year.

airaTrack, a comprehensive personnel tracking solution, sets a new benchmark for facial recognition systems.

With the integration of AI, traditional image recognition technology has reached new heights. One example is AIRA Corporation, an Intel Gold Partner, showcasing the airaTrack solution for comprehensive personnel tracking. With just the use of an Intel computing host and AI-powered real-time facial VMS, rapid deployment can be achieved, significantly reducing the previously high barriers to implementation. They successfully utilized big data to develop a natural diamond screening system and applied edge computing technology. This solution can be extended to various materials and explore multiple business opportunities in different domains.
